Bass Is The Space (12' Vvinyl)
BiggaBush and re:ni have released a collaborative EP.
Bass Is The Space is an intergenerational meeting rooted in dub, bass pressure and shared studio language. The four-track EP, which they recorded together in Dorset, is the first release from the father and daughter producers.
"The ideas flowed really well and we were often on the same page on sounds and direction, but also very receptive to each other's suggestions," re:ni said. "Sharing techniques and processes was really fun too."
BiggaBush, who's one half of '90s electronic outfit Rockers Hi-Fi, was similarly surprised by how seamless the collaborative process was. "We're very much on the same wavelength and the tracks came together quite quickly," he said. "Our different skillsets work together well and it's great
